I love the way Yan get's on with it, instead of humming and hawing over options.

This is some break, fantastic composure for a 20 year old.

Is it just me...am I just imagining the ' bigging up' of the 'sensational' match, every time BBC cut to the studio? I've certainly seen better snooker and equally exciting matches...

Thats right, in belfast. He wobbled badly that night and while he'll have learned from that this is a much bigger test so still fascinating to see how he copes. Have to say higgins does look to be struggling, lot of untypical lapses from him tonight. Still a great player but definitely nowhere near the vintage higgins of old.

9-8 now and Bingtao doesn’t look nervous at all this time around. Lack of a crowd I would say is helping though.

If Higgins is gonna win this he’s gonna have to do it the hard way, don’t see Yan handing it to him.

What a gutsy break from Yan. So impressive the way he held himself together.

Ridiculous plant to take on by Higgins, and he let Yan in to win the match.

Jaysus, didn’t see him missing that.

Be some laugh if Higgins gets another snooker.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,594 ✭✭✭newmember2

I knew he'd beaten Higgins previously but I still thought Higgins would win today fairly easily with the amount of unforced errors I'd seen in Yan all tournament.

    Cheaters never win

    I like his gf

Enjoyed that final, it was quite old school style in lots of ways. Higgins rather gifted it in the end but would take nothing awayfrom yan. Proper young talent and game desperately needs more of it. Only time tell what he can go on and achieve against the likes of judd and others. Probably a billion people tuning in and celebratingright this minute!

How did the girlfriend remember the answer !!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,244 ✭✭✭tanko

Yan won the second session 7-3, it was Higgins who cracked in the end.

That in off was a killer, it changed the match.

    This interview could be awkward.
