This is my daughter's favourite album (my wife is winning!) so I've heard it more than any other album recently! :p

Just catching up properly. I agree with all of this until the end sadly. I worshipped this album when it was released but recently I've gone right off it. Still love Definitely Maybe and The Masterplan, don't know what it is about this one... :(

Stop trying to sway the judges..

    :D

You picked the best selling album of the 90's...I'd be deducting points! ;)

I think it's my most played album of 2020. It just struck a chord when I listened to it on the day it was released. Taylor Swift is always up towards the top of my Spotify artists, but this album placed her firmly on the top.

Full Moon Fever is such a great album.
I don't think I will do well, but I don't mind. I knew Notorious was a risky choice, but it was the first album I ever bought at my 15th birthday.

Yeah but there is a very good reason ;)

I was 13 when I went deaf, I idolised Oasis at the time, want to know what year I went deaf? 1996 a year after that was released. Its probably the only album that I knew and kept with me all these years, until I got the implant tbf, I used to imagine the music and lyrics when I couldn't hear a jot. So yeah, thats why it was selected.

I love it, and it will always mean a hell of a lot to me as it got me through some absolute tough times:D

I know, it was just funny :pac:

And to be fair, if the version of the album you know has your internal voice rather than Liam's I can see why you'd rate it higher :D

    I like Liams voice :pac:

I like some of his more recent stuff too.

It may be as I'm so used to the Manchester accent, as I used to be there a lot, family and exes from there too :pac:

Stop taking my stupid comments seriously :D
I think his voice is very unique and when applied to the right song it's great. And most early oasis it was the right songs. It doesn't fit all songs though

Ah well, it was a gamble. Even more so when I found you really liked vocals! :D
I hope you enjoyed the listen anyway, I genuinely entered it hoping you'd liking it, I wasn't being obtuse. And they are my favourite band. I did umm and ahh about which album to pick but I'm not sure any would be up your street :p

Just the half points yoke :D

    Good reveal, I enjoyed it.

    Nice one Necro, good work!
Congrats purple tin. That's one I'll be giving a good listen, Steely Dan are a name I know but I've never listened to them that much

I'll give most a spin, a few I know the odd song but nothing deeper - Tom Petty, even Bruce to an extent. Within Temptation sounds very, well, tempting too!

I liked the reveal - I liked the focus being taken away from the points, let the thoughts on the music breath a bit

I like the way you do it, with the 2 parts!!!

    Enjoyed the reveal Necro.
