Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apologies if this is more suited to the gardening forum.
Can anyone suggest the best value bird food to buy please?
    Thank you.

I have found the best value has been from the garden centre, I bought sunflower seeds, and a mix that can be left.on a dish for Robin's and such and peanuts. I think it worked out about a euro per kg. Along with cooked rice and some fruit I've found the food has lasted about 6 weeks.
I've bought the cheap mixes from a 2euro shop previously and the birds leave loads behind of what they don't like. Everything I've gotten from the garden centre is eaten.

    Thanks.
Gave cooked brown rice today as we’d no bird food, but the birds obviously don’t like it!

If you go to your local Co-op you can get 20kg bags of oats for 7-8 euro
