Friend of mine in de Yew Kay has to wait 10 weeks for their second Pfizer jab....
If we were doing the same our figures would be considerably “better” than we are (in terms of numbers vaccinated)

When we can get hold of the vaccines, absolutely. 24 hours a day if necessary. I'd take a 3am appointment if I had to.

What happened to the special aer Lingus flights to China full of ill fitting ppe masks and smallish overalls.. were they dumped or sent back for refund?

5 weeks from contracting COVID is not “Long COVID”.

    It’s COVID.

Yesterday we heard him taking a photo or screen shot on his phone and several times hes accidently spoke to siri. That's not when hes watching cnn as people speak.

Not smoking seems to be a pattern in it hitting you bad for the Liveline callers.
And I've managed to stop smoking for the past 12 days for the first time in 40 years

(I can't quite belive that I'm on me way to being smoke-free!)

Though I'm a listener not a caller so maybe that's me still safe! ;)

Do you notice on LL, how people are never just on painkillers, steroids etc.

It always has to be "the most powerful painkillers you can get", or "very strong steroids".

Not smoking seems to be a pattern in it hitting you bad for the Liveline callers.

In the early days of the pandemic there was research from China and France that, paradoxically, being a smoker was protective against Covid. They reckoned that nicotine was somehow attacking the virus.
I haven’t heard anything about that since.
