    In connection with the new App, for someone who is living abroad, Australia or New Zealand & have an account with Bank of Ireland, will they be able to access the account.  Will the foreign  Phone number be acceptable.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie.

    You can certainly use an international number for your online banking. You can update your number by logging into the 365 Online website, select Manage Accounts and then Amend My Mobile Number. Please ensure to put the country code as 00** rather than +**. 

    Once your mobile number is updated, you can register with the new mobile app and use it as normal.
