Pending transactions taking time to “fall off” - BoI account

Hi, Anyone noticing pending transactions are taking longer to fall off with Bank of Ireland? I ordered something with Amazon.com and the item took it time to ship but I was charged twice and one transaction is still pending from 4th January!
