Your not the only one Thelonious, my husband got burnt aswell out doing the gardening.

Of course I did tell him to put on sunscreen but I was told it was only March!

Tomorrow should be even nicer without that wind.

Horrible wet windy day here again in the NW, lakes in the lawn. Thankfully the winds have calmed, hoping for better weather tomorrow!

Where do you live? It’s been mostly dry here all day and throughout this month.

Ground is utterly saturated with the constant rain. Great weather for the ducks.

It reached 17.5 at Phoneix Park yesterday.

Stunning morning here in NCD blue skies and sunshine and that dreaded wind is gone.

I hope those outside Dublin have a nicer day today.

I won't be putting away the winter clothes yet, looks like I'll need them on Monday.

Cloudy here again but wind only 40kph today. Was up on 80kph yesterday.

12c too so not too bad

An interesting monthly rainfall accumulation disparity in local stations again.

    From west to east:

    Station 1: 120 mm
    Station 2: 51mm
    My station: 36mm

    Odd

17 degrees at Casement, Mullingar and Mt. Dillion at the moment.

There hasn't been a cloud in sky all day here in Dublin.

It's a summer day just in March rather than June!

Cloudy and the Sun popped out about 4.30. At least it was dry. Leitrim

Glorious mild evening. Why does that cold have to come after the weekend! Praying it gets watered down or misses us altogether

No thanks praying it comes... one last blast of winter thanks.

9 weather stations at 16 or 17 degrees at 6pm all around the country according to Met Eireann.

What more could you ask for on a March evening!

I have a couple of hundred seedlings and small plants in the poly tunnel. They are all on a hot bed but if it gets very cold, catastrophe.

We do really well here with N’ly flows so I am hoping that the -10/-11 850hPa’ s will encourage a lot of instability and heavy, frequent snow showers.

I am quite looking forward to the cold front too, looks to be a North American style one.

I got a good dose of sun working in the garden all evening. Not burned but need some aftersun all the same. No thanks for any mucky sleet mix now.

15- 18 degrees all the way to May with low to mid 20's after that until the end of September please.

Will take the occasional bit of rain to keep the farmers happy and keep everything green!

One advantage of being 60km from the coast now is never get that easterly sea influence in spring and early summer.

Dublin used to remind me of a mini San Francisco with that cold sea moderation in spring/early summer.

Fabulous day in West Clare, wall to wall sunshine all day long. High of 16.5°c and with a nice breeze, however I found myself a nice sheltered spot and actually got a touch of sunburn.

Since sunset a seafog has set in, currently 8.9°c.

Wouldn't care a jot if this forecast northerly vanished in the next few runs - in fact I actually hope it does. It's just too little too late. Time for some spring warmth to get things growing. All this northerly will do is keep the non-descript chill of the winter just gone going for longer, and who in their right mind would want that?
