I have heard talk of 'positive news' now on The 6 O'Clock News and the 9 O'Clock news (by Fergal Bowers and George Lee), the Ray D'Arcy Show.

I wonder are RTE getting a lot of complaints in about all the negative news?

Hes in the mirror every day!

Also says he didnt buy books to look smart but also bought a book case wallpaper. Lies just fall apart with seconds.

Very interesting.

Reason I asked was I don’t see many copies of Mirror being bought or read, and yet he appears to mention it frequently. I think last week he even said his mother reads it (I could be wrong, but am fairly sure he did).

Surprised at Tubs, he tries so hard to portray the image of an upper class, educated, well read person.

About time too.

I have given up rté due to the negativity.

I know a lot of people who are just shattered from this lockdown, and the doom and gloom from RTÉ doesn't help.

Plenty of time now for the fake texts to be crafted in response to the fake email.

“In tears in the kitchen/car/walk/garden”.

In relation to the upcoming LLS special, I predict it will be on the subject of SHAME.

Shame for:

Mother and Baby Homes
Racism
AIDS
Cervical Test scandal
Covid-19 Response
Mental Health Services
Arts underfunding
Etc, etc.

Tubridy will be in a pool of his own angst, and will enjoy every minute of it.

My parents would be the typical default people who leave the radio and tv on rte just out of habit whenever its turned on but in the last few months theyve changed. Just can't bear it anymore, if it's not a repeat its depressing. I would imagine that type of viewer would be rtes bread and butter too.
