Played a free hit this week, meaning no Kane or Son. Begging for a quiet second half here!

McGoldrick's Premier League goal record so far:

    3 goals against Chelsea
    2 goals against Man United
    1 goal against Arsenal
    1 goal against Tottenham

He loves scoring against the Traditional Big Six!

Very happy with Lindelof coming in, he isnt great.

TC Salah, Robertson and Bruno in this one, biggest game of this season for me so far

    Salah through the middle?

Kane clear in the bonuses still

A Kane/Son combo would be most welcome before the end

Just an assist for Son is disappointing

Bringing Sanchez on with a few seconds left in the game. Mourinho tactical masterclass right there.

Egan missing UTD trip next GW. Captain Bruno looks even more appealing assuming he doesnt get the 5th yellow himself anytime soon

I look at Kane and Son as a combination. 14 points from them isn't bad. They can do better but there aren't any other combinations in the premiership that you can look at 14 points and think that's about average for them. They are a lock for the season.

Doesn't it reset after the Liverpool game?

Kane on for 3 BPS. He's a clear season holder for me, so consistent

Yeah looks like it with Firmino in the hole.

Delighted I kept Kane. Didn't pull the trigger on Kane to Vardy for a hit. Would be sickened now

From the same team your probably right, however for the price they are are they returning how they should be?

From reading comments in here today Kane was playing right wing back at times and i feel for 11m+ striker - he's not delivering as much as he should be.

Since the West Ham game, so from GW 6 onwards, their average is 11 points per game.

Likewise since the West Ham game, Kane hasn't score more than 1 goal in a game.

I use West Ham game as the game, as they threw away 3 goal lead - his team played a lot more defensively from that game onwards.

Anyone without Kane is probably thinking 1 goal not a bad result - and they probably said that last week. On the face of it, Kane scored only 2 goals against 2 teams in the bottom 3.

I'm more than happy with Kane getting 8/9 points a game.

He's comfortabley the highest scoring striker.

Highest scoring player overall too at the moment

Yeah, but Antonio is fit now. Move aside expensive Kane.

He's 11.1m so he should be comfortable the highest scoring striker, but hes's not though

Based on current costs, he costs

4.4m more than DCL, and only has 1 more goal
4.5m more than Bamford, and only has 2 more goals
4.5m more than Wilson, and only has 4 more goals.

This week he played the team bottom of the table - and scored 1 goal. He scored the same about of points that Antonio did. A very popular choice this week, but he costs 4.8m more than Antonio.

So all in all, yes he's scored 12 goals and yes he's top points scorer, but is he returning what you would expect from a 11.1m player?

Finally - would you be happy to captain Kane every week going forward if he was just getting 8/9 points? Also since the West Ham game, Kane's average points per game is 6.3.

Is everyone too tense watching their TC to post?

Don't have Sky so relying on Brian Kerr & co. on Newstalk.

Liverpool dominating possession and a few half chances/shots.

Salah sounds fairly anonymous so far :-(

Ha watching very closely. Also have Robertson and it would’ve been nice if Firmino could’ve played him in twice earlier in the game!

Waiting for Robertson to score here....

If it could be a Salah assist it’d be nice too.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,447 ✭✭✭Ginger n Lemon

Thiago is very poor. Waste of space... shouldve started Nat Philips or Rhys lad in defence and Hendo in midfield.
