No, doesn't do anything for me.

Did you know that in Ireland the moon typically rises in the east and sets in the west just like the sun?

I'm no scientist but I think it's because the earth rotates anti-clockwise on its axis. So the east for the earth is like the front windscreen when driving the car so moon, sun etc... "approach" from this angle.

The Napleonic exploits of Captain Jack Aubrey played by Russell Crowe. His ship, the HMS Surprise is on the hunt for an illusive French ship which is far superior in both size and fire power and means to take his ship as a prize, but Lucky Jack has Surprise on his side :D

How many people have you spoken to so far today?

4 in person (kids and wife), one on Skype (colleague).

What do you predict your next big purchase (let's say more than €200) will be?

Dropped nearly €300 this morning on some tools and supplies and I'm guessing the next purchase of over €200 will be in something similar.

    Earliest memory?

What's your experience driving on the right side of the road? Hard, easy? Any tips?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,119 ✭✭✭Gregor Samsa

No bother for me, I’ve driven in plenty of countries. Just remember the middle of the road is out your (driver’s) window, same as it is here (assuming you’re driving a left hand drive car over there). First couple of roundabout might take a bit of thought on what lane you should be in, but after that it will come naturally. An automatic can make things easier. I’ve never driven a RHD car in a LHD country, but I have driven a LHD car here. You need to think a bit more doing that.

How often do you wash your home windows?

When necessary during the colder months, but a lot more frequently now that the weather is improving

I used one today. A local where I am here has bees and they leave jars of honey in the honesty box.

My work place isn’t an environment for a honesty box.

    Your biggest fear?
