Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It’s a few weeks since I’ve had my second.

Do you have a summer holiday planned ?

No, just take it as it comes, few days booked later this month in a hotel, probably do the same later in the summer.

What's the largest amount of money you ever found and did you turn it in?!!

    I'd doubt it tbh

What sport is most likely to produce a gold medal for Ireland at this year's Olympic games?

I smoked on and off from about 14 to my early 30s.
I’d have to be fairly tipsy to smoke these days

Is there something you only do when drunk ?

Talk to people that I'd normally avoid like the plague

Is a cashless society the way to go?

No, people should remain of the ability to choose...choice is one of the most practical and important freedoms we have...too many problems if say a card is lost, stolen, damaged and trying to get your hands on a replacement... many transactions we make are necessary...ie. go into a pharmacy to get medication, taking a taxi to work etc... cashless society is not a way to go... there is zero reason for it aside to save businesses money, handling it, processing it, cheaper insurance... none of the saving will be passed to the public anyway .... the interests and needs of the public is more important....cash and cards both to stay.

Can you be friends with someone you’ve disliked for the majority of time you’ve known them, ? Ever happened ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

No, not any more. I've come to the stage in my life where I can't be friendly with someone who i dislike. It becomes very obvious, quiet quickly, if I like or don't like you. Yes, it did happen in my younger days when I was naive enough.

Can a "friends with benefits" situation actually work out well?

It was a Jamaican 'hooch' . Home brew rum or something. Pure paint stripper. I had it for years in the press till a new flatmate moved in and drank it. Fùcking eejit.

Will you book a holiday for next year ?
