Were there Dortmund fans saying that? Don't know any, personally.

Leeds lead at Newcastle all over them

Newcastle are on an absolutely awful run.

If Fulham can find a way to turn their recent good form into points on the board - they've a great chance of getting out of the bottom 3 (they have Brighton and West Brom next two games which will be interesting).

    Sorry you are dead right.

What is the prize for title winning form? Maybe we should give team points for praise from journalists

West Ham are on course to win 6 in a row. Are they in title winning form?

    Apology accepted.

Well in the case of that Dortmund team they ended up with a few million more than they would have got if they finished lower down the league. They managed to qualify for EL as well I think so I suppose you could class that as a prize.

This season in the PL winning 6 in a row is very impressive. Not to many teams have managed that so far and if they keep it up they'll shoot up the table.

I'd forgotten just how juvenile this place is.

    Might seek another extended ban!

Kicked off by an Arsenal fan who brings Klopp into every conversation.

I only assume the arsenal guy or girl must fancy klopp to become a future specialist in failure.

As a part time time Dortmund fan myself I have only respect and love for the klopp obviously .

I think Pepe is going to go down as one of the worst buys ever in the PL.

    One all Southampton.

Bad news city ahead through gundogs who is in some tasty form

Loved Pepe at Lille, was his goal any good? You'd have to be incredibly disappointed with him so far, with the form he had and the money paid you'd expect a lot more from him.

One goal tonight won't change the fact that he's been an awful waste of 70-80m so far.

Gundogan must be on the Pep juice. Scoring goals like he's prime Aguero.

Ah this is disgraceful league is gone blew it up

What happened there? Was he not off? 8 thought lineman was told to keep it down until the end of play. PL is a proper bag of shyte, they haven't a clue what they're at, incredible amount of inconsistencies

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,220 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Assistant in the City game got that one very wrong. Flag up, WBA players stop, goal given (correctly). Aren't they supposed to keep their flag down till play stops now?

Yeah, she could have kept the flag down. She made sure to keep it down with Sterling 2 minutes after!

No he was on but the ref didn't blow the whistle lines person completely at fault. The whole thing about when they put the flag up has caused this

That Cancelo goal is a joke. Plain and simple.

City demolishing WBA here. 3-0 after 28 mins.

City, with a defensive structure, is actually fúcking frightening.

I wouldn't put it past Sam to walk before wba were mathematically gone so he can maintain he record

City minus probably their two best players and look irresistible. Although West Brom at the hawthorns are abysmal. 22 goals now conceded in their last 5 home league games

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,885 ✭✭✭✭yourdeadwright

Thats it the start of Citys march to the title

West Brom have Fulham and Sheffield United in their next two games. Sam would have written this game off before it started. It's what he does in a relegation scrap (it's what he did in charge of us). And if they manage 6 points in their next two games, then it'll be justified

Pep shows other managers how to deal with injuries. No drama, no moaning and blaming everyone around him he just gets on with it that feeds back to the players too they look like they enjoy playing football.

Ah Pep loves a moan just as much as the next manager. He’s had plenty of rants about fixture congestion and injuries when things were going less well for him.

Pep's pretty cool, in fairness. It's a rare manager who's absolutely loved by both his own team's fans and his city rivals fans.

It's a sound logic but can see them losing both too

Totally, I really like Pep! I’m just saying that he’s no saint or anything - it’s a bloody stressful job, and they all have an auld rant when things go against them. I’ve no problem at all with that, especially when mics are shoved in their faces exactly as they’re at their most emotionally vulnerable post-match.

He is likeable, I've no interest in slagging him off either.... cardigan's aside. Quality player in his day, too.

His defence of the human rights abuses in Abu Dhabi, especially his "well he decided to live there" comment about Ahmed Mansoor, is fairly ugly.

Strange to see West Ham flying so high - 4th.
That's 6 wins in a row now and surely David Moyes' stock is rising.
You would wonder if there are any big clubs, under-achieving with a former player as manager, who previously managed a side now in the Championship, interested in having a punt?

What do mean Chelsea have already replaced Frank Lampard!

City and pool should be the title race its one managers chance to win back the tittle he lost and the other managers chance to seperate his side domestically from the other one league win teams but the pressure of defending that league title is alot greater than when you get a free run at the league because all other teams have had a terrible season.

City will win the league because they have a better manager then united simple as that, he is the best in the league and thats in a league that has another two great managers Ancelotti and Jose mourinho, two managers have won everything there is to win in the game multiple times and klopp too.

Pretty much this. It's Pep's to lose. He's finally stumbled on a solid defense and that will be good enough to get City over the line, even without KDB and Aguero.

It's pretty much the same situation this season as last, no? Last season Pool had a clear run at the league as City, their main competitor, fell off with form and defensive injury problems. This year's an exact repeat, in reverse. Alas no title race last year, and I suspect no title race this year when it comes down to it. City topped the league tonight with equal games played, and I don't think that situation is going to change again for the rest of the season.

Only the Manchester clubs left with their fate remaining in their own hands.

Is there an argument that KDB inhibits them a little, as he becomes their default creative outlet when he plays?

Wasn't their best season without him?

    Not technically true.
If Leicester City win all their remaining games, they win the league.
