    Lying in me bed with the kids watching telly and I'm staring at the sky hoping for it to have a massive dumping of snow. Be good for them to see it fall if it did since they're a little too young to remember BFTE.

    Light dusting in Wicklow Town. Good webcam at wicklowcam . com (without spaces... can't post link as I'm a new user). Also good to keep an eye on streamers coming in off the Irish Sea later.

    TAFS for Dublin. Mainly sleet, with a slight chance of show shovers (better chance are Casement). Dublin Airport's one has been amended 3 times since first issued at 5 am but the PROB30 for light snow showers didn't change.

    With daylight now, I can see there is actually a sprinkling of snow on cars, roofs and grass (from last night) in Dublin 16.

    Snow showers appear to be making a little more progress on shore northeast of Dublin now. The lack of strong push onland is good because more time to change from rain or sleet if there is any there.

    I thought I might wake to find it had all melted and gone, leaving just the dream, but luckily not. I colour corrected a couple but the other two I preferred the blue glow as it's closer to how it looked when I was taking them.

    We got a teeny dusting in the early hours of the morning. Pathetic enough that it would be hard to make a couple of snowballs out of! Precipitation again just now, but it looks to be more on the sleet side than snow. Still pretty to watch mine you

    Shallow/flabby low pressure in Irish Sea moving slowing SE should start to push them further inland.
