Decent snow kicking off now in Lusk! Couldn't believe the size of the flakes and intensity last night though, really beautiful.

Just under 2cm has fallen in Donabate in last hour, & surprisingly not wet snow but lovely white fluffy snow. I’m off out to play!!

Snow depths in Norn Iron. Glennane (near Newry, 161 m) has shot from 0 to 4 cm in the past hour. Pity Lough Fea seems to be offline. That would bring in some big numbers, being at 225 m.

Radar animation would suggest that whole trough will pivot back down southwards and catch a lot of Louth, Meath, East Kildare and Dublin in the next few hours. It's a nowcast!

save the trouble and jazz it up

So infuriating seeing it snow a little closer to the coast than you are (6km) and in a position between the two other areas of the band where it’s furthest away from you and just ever so slowly moving in :D

    Time lapse ready,
    Me ready
    Me super excited
    Me ... hungry ? :D

Yes I've finally seen a flake here in sallynoggin after following this thread all evening and morning :D

Very light small flake Snow in Bray now. The important thing though is its actual snow right on the Seafront which is a good sign for anyone inland I would imagine. Radar indicates the band is just coming onshore here so should intensify as we get deeper into it. Perfect timing tbh as we're almost finished Newspaper deliveries and will be home and off the road for the rest of the day.
