That was such a lucky throw, should have been picked. This is shaping up to be a great game.

    Yikes! The arm on Brady!

Great run by Fournette for the TD.

Wow, just chuck it up and let him get it.

Deserved it after the bad drop!

TD! Great run. Fantastic game so far.

Can only see one winner in this. Did they say that packers defence was 9th in the league? That was two laughable plays in a row from them.

Poor from savage there. Should have been a pick. This very stressful watching our defence

Well that old adage, they are DBs for a reason.
I didn't see that as an easy interception though. Amazing catch, but was more likely going to be an incomplete pass.

    Poor field position here...

    That’s a touchback.

Yeah but they are 21st in average yards allowed per play.

Looked pretty obvious in real time that it hit the line.

Can someone explain that rule please. Did he not effectively bring it out of the end zone? Or once it lands directly in, is it dead?

If it bounces in end zone before a touch its a touchback

Think it's dead once it hits the endzone.

It was a great catch but if you watch the play again just as savage takes off godwin steps into his back and puts his trajectory off. Not pass interfearance but enough to stop savage making a play

The end zone starts at the outer edge of the white line. That's why a TD is awarded if the tip of the football touches/crosses that outer edge.

Any kickoff that reached the end zone is a touch back....... However I was under the impression that as you can still return a ball that bounces into the end zone.... It is a live ball at that point, I actually don't understand the call either.

Once the ball makes any contact with the goal line it’s a dead ball.

I definitely agree he was in position to make an interception had there been no receiver, but if Goodwin couldn't make the catch you can be sure he'd be breaking the int attempt up.

    Freakish catch/leap though!

Silly statement. Packers are at the 9, one td behind, yards top everything is pretty much even

    FG packers 14-10 second quarter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 610 ✭✭✭Kev8360

That was a big stop by the Bucs - Packers will need TDs not FGs the way this game is shaping up

Just read the official rule.... This is the answer!
Nice and simple for a change.

Big drive here for the game.

Something decent we could be looking at 21-10 halftime.

3 and out or short drive, we looking at a 3/4 point game at halftime and could be either team.

Are you watching the game or a stats list? Watching them trying to tackle Fournette on the TD run was keystone cops job.

A nice and simple rule is like hens teeth’s. you only need to break the goal line for a TD yet to bring the ball out of the end zone you need to get the whole ball over the line.

Yes, big drive alright. Offences on top.

Edit nice 3rd down catch by Godwin.

Easy third down conversions for Brady all night.
