Will they be the first home SB team?

Didn't think Tampa Bay had a chance to reach (win) super bowl after seeing them struggle to beat WFT.

Maybe Washington were a bit better than I thought.

Went into New Orleans and to go I to Green Bay in January and win would be some statement.

Another TD, this game is on the brink of a blowout now.

And that’s 28-10. The packers players and coaching staff need to get the finger out if they want to have any chance of winning this game.

Yes. If the bucs win it’s the first one ever. The niners got the closest when they played a super bowl on Stanford.

Will they be the first home SB team?

Yes, if they win, San Francisco played in a stadium that they used because of an earthquake, but it wasn't their home stadium

    Need a TD.

    Followed by a stop.

    Followed by a score.

And that's just to make a game of it...

    Game over

Is there anything more inevitable than NFL fans writing a game off prematurely?

Seems to happen every single game despite comeback after comeback.

Game not over yet but my God the packers find new ways of bottling it year after year.

High tempo always suits Rodgers. Not sure why he doesn't use it more often

That's true, but we remember the comebacks...more often then not, good teams go on to seal wins from good positions...

Rodgers is so much fun to watch when he's playing like this.

    needed that TD

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,004 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

TD packers 28-17. Imagine if the packers had held the bucs scoreless at the end of the half.

We all needed that TD to keep this interesting.

Packers D hasn't shown they can stop the Buccs though. Now would be a great time.

Great drive by Rodgers. Get a stop or hold the Bucs to a FG now and they may be back in business

Only working off the evidence so far. The defence either shut down the 3rd down plays or it won't matter how good the offence is.

..... and hadn't fumbled their initial possession to the Buccs at the 10 yard line.

Whitehead a big loss for Bucs as is Jones for GB

Green Bay have forgotten how to play, they don't get much practice in their division, Bears, Lions and Vikings are all weak teams, that could be a factor

Didn't I read that the Packers only beat 2 teams with winning records all regular season? Maybe they just aren't very good either.

Rodgers has carried that roster for years. They give him nobodies like Valdes-Scantling, Tonyan and Lazard and he makes their careers. Some of his starting receivers over the years would be on practice squads at best if it wasn't for Rodgers.

They've wasted one of the best to ever play the game.

Ah he had cobb and few others through the years, jordi Nelson

Good no-call on the pass to Goodwin

You can mask a lot of deficiencies on offense with a great QB but he can't help the defense stop the other team.

finally a play by the packers D!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,546 ✭✭✭Masked Man

That's what the Packers needed I think.

No flags is mad. Has there ever been a game where no penalty flags thrown ?

    That’ll do Green Bay.

Yes. Thank god. Let's go pack. Brady is throwing up gimmes all day

Nelson, Cobb and Adams are the only three offensive weapons they've drafted for him in the first 2 rounds in his career I believe. After that he's just out there turning Jags training camp rejects into starters.

He has carried them, but they've built/constructed and spent the same as any team in the NFL.

They've had some really talented teams that (may) have been squandered by the Mccarthy years. But he has had talent around him imo

That could have been Brady's 4th or more INT, so lucky it was only his first. Only so many times you can just lob it up before you get caught
