Gaetz is just further evidence of the moral bankruptcy of the GOP.
He was showing nude photos of his "conquests" around Congress years ago .
He was even doing it on the floor of the House. His behaviour was such that Paul Ryan (remember him) in his position as House leader had to speak to him about his actions.
Given that Ryan stepped down at the 2018 mid-terms , the GOP have known he was a dirt bag for at least 3 years yet nothing was done , they've allowed him to stand for reelection twice more since then.
It's not like Gaetz was in a swing district or anything - They could have bounced him at any time for absolutely zero risk to the seat.

Jan 6th happened. People died.
When he showed zero remorse, his defenders said that he didn't need to, he had nothing to do with it (he did and he should have shown remorse).
Be that as it may, there was a direct link between that attack and the lie that the election was stolen.
Common sense would mean that if you were the figurehead of that big lie movement, you'd keep your mouth shut, right? Just to be sure that there would be no further violence or the possibility?

When he showed zero remorse, his defenders said that he didn't need to, he had nothing to do with it (he did and he should have shown remorse).
Be that as it may, there was a direct link between that attack and the lie that the election was stolen.
Common sense would mean that if you were the figurehead of that big lie movement, you'd keep your mouth shut, right? Just to be sure that there would be no further violence or the possibility?
