It s this something you liked because of how his voice made you feel or did he have some original insights that you think are worth sharing?

Jon and Lou Dobbs should team up, they would be a very good double act.

Have you anything to actually say about the video you posted and mused that it was interesting, apart from the professional actor having a nice voice?

What did you find interesting? Was it the reference to religion, the call for prayer to save America (which I would suggest goes directly against a notion of democracy where a unelected being would make decisions for the country).

Trying to go for the Streissand Effect too?

It's amazing how consistently this crowd even word their sentences and framing of arguments (while flip flopping on most of the arguments themselves endlessly).

so Flynn was playing 4d Chess? is that what they are claiming?

Chess is not a game. Dimensions are not a matter of opinion. Michael Flynn is a master chess player. He is a chess genius. He works in all dimensions and can turn a King into a pawn. Michael Flynn is tired of decent Americans being treated like a pawn. He and the American people are sick of you treating them as disposable. He will rise up with his fellow Patriots and lead us to glory.

We have had enough of the liberal agenda against the proud American invention that is chess, and the soulless elitists who tried to give it away to Europe. Michael Flynn could play chess around these fools like a fiddle and he has done this again.

Michael Flynn is not afraid to speak out in honor of his country and has proven to the world that he is a dedicated chess hero.

    Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

Well done Grandmaster General Flynn, well done.

Here's hoping we find out what it says...

    https://twitter.com/CREWcrew/status/1389625313743810560?s=19

    ...

After reviewing the OLC memo, Judge Jackson found that it “raises serious questions about how the Department of Justice could make this series of representations to a court,” concluding that “It is time for the public to see that [the memo], too.”

Trump will not be let back on to Twitter according to the CFO and they have no plans to review

Facebook just a few minutes ago appears to have affirmed its decision to ban Trump following an oversight review. Apparently they were not swayed by Ron DeSantis threatening them with a good time in an appeals court with his proposed law banning the banning of despots that are too big to fail.

Considering Trump has his own platform and email newsletter it seems moot to cry about his oppression however.

Please tell me that this new blog thing isn't the "huge Social Media platform" that they were touting a while back?

It's a low quality Geocities page at best..I don't get it.

As an aside - Why are Right wingers so crap at building websites and social media platforms in particular?

Just from a technology/usability perspective , they're all just terrible things.

I always thought it was because their customers/supporters are older generation or less technologically up to date and more used to these crappy websites. Also do the websites load in an okay (better?) way with a poor connection?

Trump's fmr Chief of Staff Mark Meadows for his part saying this means we need to break up Big Tech - No longer can we have facebook and twitter both owned by the sa- wait they aren't?

    https://www.mediaite.com/trump/mark-meadows-calls-for-government-regulation-after-trumps-facebook-ban-decision-time-to-break-up-big-tech/

“I would suggest it won’t be regulation they look at from the legislative standpoint. This is going to be a breakup of big tech,” Meadows replied. “When you look at Google and Facebook they have more power over what we read and what we see than any in the media. We look —very critically —at people buying TV stations to say they shouldn’t have a monopoly, yet Google and Facebook and YouTube actually control much of what America sees, whether it’s you and I talking right now and it gets reposted on any of those platforms, they have the ability to actually raise that profile or lower it and so it is time that we break up big tech, not just regulate them.”

It's almost like he's never heard of Sinclair.

Yeah.. maybe , but I think it's more to do with them vastly under estimating how hard it is to do properly.

Hence you have people like Lindell and now Trump failing badly by lashing out any old muck in a matter of weeks and not understanding why it's a disaster.

it is almost as if IT at that level is very very hard and requires highly skilled people to develop and maintain it.

His statement after the announcement of the continuing Facebook ban is embarrassing. Reminds me of something a 3-year-old child would write.

That and his other pronouncements so far today on his Blog just confirm that the actions taken by Twitter & Facebook were justified then and continue to be justified today..

    So far we have
Warmonger Liz Cheney, who has virtually no support left in the Great State of Wyoming, continues to unknowingly and foolishly say that there was no Election Fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election when in fact, the evidence, including no Legislative approvals as demanded by the U.S. Constitution, shows the exact opposite. Had Mike Pence referred the information on six states (only need two) back to State Legislatures, and had gutless and clueless MINORITY Leader Mitch McConnell (he blew two seats in Georgia that should have never been lost) fought to expose all of the corruption that was presented at the time, with more found since, we would have had a far different Presidential result, and our Country would not be turning into a socialist nightmare! Never give up!
What Facebook, Twitter, and Google have done is a total disgrace and an embarrassment to our Country. Free Speech has been taken away from the President of the United States because the Radical Left Lunatics are afraid of the truth, but the truth will come out anyway, bigger and stronger than ever before. The People of our Country will not stand for it! These corrupt social media companies must pay a political price, and must never again be allowed to destroy and decimate our Electoral Process.
Liz Cheney is a warmongering fool who has no business in Republican Party Leadership. We want leaders who believe in the Make America Great Again movement, and prioritize the values of America First. Elise Stefanik is a far superior choice, and she has my COMPLETE and TOTAL endorsement for GOP Conference Chair. Elise is a tough and smart communicator!

It's actually a challenge to count how many lies and untruths there are in all of that.

Imagine he still had Twitter/Facebook and Instagram to pump that drivel out to the masses.

The law of put crap in get crap out applies.

Creating, running and maintaining a successful system requires highly qualified people. Going for the quick cash in opportunity, being cheap and know for not paying your bills sort of goes against you.

If your not technically minded enough to correctly start it yourself, that means either hiring directly or outsourcing, even after correctly starting, you need to do either to maintain and grow the system.

Otherwise you end up with a system that is like a intro to computer science project that leads to the details of your members being leaked a lot more easily.

Absolutely - Also the fact that no serious IT Platform would want to be associated with them means that they end up having to cobble something together from open-source solutions that are just not designed for large scale distribution and usage.

I mean there's lots of off the shelf Community platforms out there that normal organisations can use , but they'd all run a mile from being associated with these "Havens of Free speech"..

Yeah should watch, if you haven't already, Qanon:into the storm, which details a lot of the 4chan/8chan haven of free speech. I'm surprised Jim/Ron Watkins hasn't offered his services to trump

There is also a post about this tweet in the Joe thread but it could derail that thread whereas this thread is about Trump.

Democrats are publicly calling for Trump to be banned from Facebook permanently.
Why is the political party of the USA trying to influence a private company? Shouldn't they just let FB make their own decisions?

This is like FG on Twitter calling for a certain user to be permanently banned from boards.ie and then asking people to spread the message by retweets.
In 18 hours just over 3000 people have liked the post. That is not a lot.

    Facebook already permanently banned him.
    It was their decision.
    Same with Twitter.
    And rightly so.

    Words and actions have consequences.

anyway, back to trump. Why do you think he should be exempt from Facebook terms and conditions?

Do you know the posts that got him perm banned?
    Two posts.

“We love you. You’re very special,” he said in the first post, and “great patriots” and “remember this day forever” in the second.
Those violated Facebook’s rules against praising or supporting people engaged in violence.

I disagree these posts break the T&C of FB.

But Dems think Trump should be banned forever for these two posts. I think that is overkill and Dems are leaning on FB to silence the opposition.

It wasn't those specific posts, or at least not them in isolation. He had been repeatedly warned, it was made clear that FB etc were extending special permissions because he was POTUS.

He refused to abide by the rules and he crossed the line one too many times. Think of it as like the three strikes you're out rule. Like someone on probation getting sent back to jail for what would normally be a relatively minor offence.

But it doesn't matter to you if he did or did not break the T&Cs of Facebook as your opinion is "I don't agree with Facebook's ban because I don't think FB should be able to control political voices" so I'm not sure why you are now referencing T&Cs that you don't care about.
