Wow - was it really so long ago that Trumpites were wringing their hands at the vast amount of executive orders Biden was making which undid Trump's policies?

But.. now, he isn't undoing them?

I highly doubt that the Irish times are "Trumpites". They published the article.

The author laid out the comparison of policies and came to the conclusion

Here is a nice summary of Biden's foreign policy.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_policy_of_the_Joe_Biden_administration#:~:text=The%20foreign%20policy%20of%20the,challenges%20from%20Russia%20and%20China.

Explain to why you think it is so similar to Trump's policy and what you believe he should do differently. Rather than link dumping.

I think Biden is doing okay with foreign policy, he’s barely in the door though and I’d be slow to judge him on what he hasn’t done yet. He scored an own goal on the refugee numbers but also was man enough to change it. Happy they are back in the Paris accord but it’s easier to sign up than do something so that would have to be judged in the future

Fair call. Out of everything he has or hasn't done immediately rejoining the Paris accord sent out a definitive message that the Us is back on board as a global team player.

Too soon to judge the other policies. Pandemic is all time consuming right now. Understandable

Simple, he actually has a plan to do it. Trump made the statement but never actually planned for the withdrawal, I don't think he even informed the Pentagon.

Will be interesting to see what Biden does with criminal justice reform.
With his involvement in the controversial 1994 crime Bill and many activists already highlighting he hasn't kept most of his campaign criminal justice reform promises, will be an area of concern for the administration.

He is less than 10% through his presidential term. You should write him a letter telling him that you feel upset that he focused on other reforms first before the ones you are faux interested in.

Biden promised to end end mandatory minimum sentences for federal drug offenses.

But he seems to be doing the opposite:

Kara Gotsch, deputy director of the Sentencing Project, a nonprofit research organization seeking to reduce incarceration rates, said she is especially disappointed with the Biden administration because it supported renewing a policy that subjects individuals to mandatory minimum sentences for having trace amounts of fentanyl in their systems.

He kept it at a schedule I drug, which is the correct thing to do. It’s an incredibly powerful synthetic opioid which can knock someone out just via skin contact alone.

A ban on fentanyl has widespread bipartisan support.

No, I do not realise that all heroin in the USA is basically laced with fentanyl as it's not true. I do however realise that that it is the case on occasion.

What is your source that states that all heroin in the USA is basically laced with fentanyl?

4 years following someone who was always about to do something was acceptable but someone that doesn’t do everything in 4 months is too much for them.

The most important peice of justice reform in decades The first step Act is sadly flaming out under the Biden administration.

The first step act signed off by Donald Trump was greatest peice of justice reform in a generation and took massive bipartisan efforts and is a shame its struggling considering the highlight Biden has put on justice reform and his promises to act on it.

Only Tuesday just gone the Biden Administration Flip-Flopped Its Position in Case Over Crack Cocaine Sentences. SCOTUS Did Not Seem Pleased.

    https://lawandcrime.com/supreme-court/biden-administration-flip-flopped-its-position-in-case-over-crack-cocaine-sentences-scotus-did-not-seem-pleased/

No surprise there considering the Democrats brought in the 100:1 sentencing disparity between crack cocaine and powder.

Considering his questionable and controversianal history in reform along with his campaign promises it has been a poor start in this area.

I know the flip flop comment is a quote from the article but unless I’ve misunderstood, the Biden administration haven’t flip flopped. They have reversed the position of the previous administration and done so within 5 days of Garland being installed as AG.

They hadn’t taken a position to flip flop on.

Dismal employment report for April and yes that's the word cnn used Dismal.

Economy not bouncing back as hoped with only 266,000 jobs added and not the 1 million as projected.

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/05/07/economy/april-jobs-report-pandemic-anniversary/index.html

The US economy added only 266,000 jobs in April on the anniversary of the worst job loss for any month on record. That was far less than forecasts of economists, who had predicted America would add 1 million jobs last month.

The unemployment rate rose to 6.1% in April, up from 6% a month earlier, as more people returned to the labor force to look actively for work, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said Friday. The March jobs numbers were also revised down to 770,000 from 916,000 reported initially.

Why are you only posting negative news? And why are you not giving your own opinion? And why are you not answering questions?
