He should have been awake at 3 AM when a private company called the White House to see if they should buy Norton antivirus.

Isn't this the free market at work?

A private company shut down supply because it was unable to accurately bill customers resulting in fuel shortages and increased prices.

Not sure what Biden can do about that.

This is the biko spiral of throwing events into a thread but never giving an opinion or wanting to discuss it.

Because the government interfering in the market is bad unless it's the democrats that's not interfering, if the GOP were not interfering it would all be about the great profits being made by the oil companies and traders taking advantage of the low supply.

And wouldn't you know it now my Congressman is attacking Joe Biden because the CBP apprehended more 178,000 illegal immigrants at the border - the highest one month total in 20 years, according to he. But Biden is all about Open Borders, apparently.

    Philosophy question.

If someone shoots up a public space or school and kills a few kids, but they were using a gun that they acquired because of legislation that 'owned the libs', does it really count as a tragedy?

the fentanyl comes from China and the authorities know who the main people are behind this. The fact that the authorities let it continue means that they want to undermine the US economy

"The fact that the authorities let it continue" is doing a lot of heavy lifting, for an assumption. And from there is a pretty vague and unfathomable leap to a conclusion that authorities are somehow conspiring to undermine the US economy. The authorities don't "let it continue" if you google "fentanyl" you'll get story after story of authorities busting fentanyl distribution.

there is one main producer that lives freely. Why wouldnt the Chinese want to undermine the US in any way possible? I would frame the ccp with the worst intentions and let them prove its not true

The fact that the GOP won't even vote for a commission on what happened on 6th Jan, when the VP himself was under direct threat and many GOP were scared for their lives, shows that there is no chance of any bipartisanship from the GOP.

Whatever about working together on minimum wage or universal health care etc if they can't even out aside their party allegiance to protect the country they purport to love then then really is no hope.

Notice that Gaetz is not saying let's shoot them he is saying it is their obligation to shoot them.

A sitting Senator is saying that Republicans have an obligation to undertake terrorism.

Can you imagine the uproar if a black person came out and said it was the obligation of black people to attack white people as they didn't agree with them. Or AOC said it, Or Omar etc.

But as usual this dangerous rhetoric will be excused, contextualised, laughed off, deemed to have been misunderstood.

"The internet’s hall monitors out in Silicon Valley, they think they can suppress us, discourage us. Maybe if you’re just a little less patriotic. Maybe if you just conform to their way of thinking a little more, then you’ll be allowed to participate in the digital world.

Well you know what? Silicon Valley can’t cancel this movement, or this rally, or this Congressman. We have a Second Amendment in this country, and I think we have an obligation to use it."

Details on Antonio Garcia Martinez here
    http://www.theverge.com/2021/5/12/22432909/apple-petition-hiring-antonio-garcia-martinez-chaos-monkeys-facebook

Some random new Apple employee who apparently had a questionable background in terms of the oul racism/sexism.

Strictly speaking it's not really cancel culture in the regular sense.
It seems other Apple employees kicked up a fuss about hiring him to begin with.

Because it's indicitive of American society, currently being led by Joe Biden, and the ones who call for individuals to be fired from jobs, or endure some financial cost for their opinions, or something relatively benign they've eritten, tend to be followers of a progressive ideology that is and will continue to damage the democrats in the years to come.

Sounds like he doesn’t much like women who work in tech in California and a bunch of people who work in tech in California decided they don’t much like him.

Not seeing any link here to Biden or so called cancel culture.

All I see is people desperately trying to link any negative story to an already and increasingly popular president.

The link to Biden is this poisonous ideology resides in his party, and instead of trying to get rid of it, he is trying to appease those in his party who support these types of things. A bit like how centrist Republicans tried to appease the religious right and effectively destroyed their party. Let's hope the same things doesn't happen to the dems.

What ideology? Some guy slagged off women in tech and now is suffering the consequences.

Any evidence this is in any way linked to Biden or even the Democratic Party?
