She said she's singling out Democratic women of colour.
What else is she suggesting there?

So she 'basically' didn't call her that like you said. In fact, she specifically said she wasn't calling her that.

Either way, AOC having a problem with Pelosi is a weird hill to die on to try and convince people that she's this really despicable person when there are actual hateful people in the House and Senate.

Hate her all you want but I really think your anger is misdirected and you're falling for the nonsense that is thrown at her.

She hops on whatever the twitter masses are outraged about and attacks the politician who made them feel this way with twitter rants and media pressure.

I don't think she has any real beliefs herself like a political atheist and you know what they say about atheists?

You can't have faith in them :D

This is just a load of rambling nonsense.

You say she has no beliefs? How did she manage to beat a 20-year incumbent who had the backing of the New York governor?

Again, just the usual ridiculous sh*te soundbites that are rolled out just to discredit people. You don't beat a 20-year incumbent from within your own party for having no beliefs.

If you actually think she has no beliefs or is just 'an outrage politician that hops on the twitter outrage' then you haven't a clue about her at all.

Do yourself a favour. Do some reading and actually educate yourself instead of reading what Bob on Facebook says.

Nonsense. The 690 legislative pieces sponsored or co-sponsored by her show exactly what her beliefs are.

You’re just too busy getting your “news” and information from tweets to see what’s actually going on.

    A bad faith poster. Typical.

Didn’t she raise millions for Texas during the cold snap?
A Republican state that she’s not from.
While the actual senator for the state went to Cancun.

Yes, but you see as eagle eye so astutely pointed out she only did that to make Cancun Cruz and other Republicans look bad.

    Or something.

I've no hate, I just look at people and their actions. It's quite clear to me that AOC will try and destroy anybody to climb a step closer to the ultimate prize.
Yes there's loads of despicable people in the Senate and Congress but it doesn't matter if they are decent or not, if they get in AOC's way she'll try and ruin them

Honestly this just seems like a grudge against Cortez that you've developed more than anything.

What exactly are you objecting to? Plenty of Irish politicians and members of the public would agree.

It's amazing how many hold a grudge against AOC, it's almost like in their eyes an outspoken, successful, who champions equality and for the workers, opinionated woman should have completely the opposite qualities

    to people who have been implying that Biden isn't doing a lot of work. This art on his efforts at bipartisanship on the Infrastructure Bill alone shows otherwise;

I don't despise her. I'm just commentating on how I see her. She does a lot if good things but she has that evil streak in her where you are a target if you are in her way and it doesn't matter if you are a good or evil person if you get in her way, she'll try and destroy you.

I think the Pelosi thing is a good example.
Now I do despise Pelosi but calling her out like she did was clearly a move to advance her own career.

Civilly criticising a fellow politician for their actions is not the same as trying to destroy a good person.

Did she call her a racist or did she just comment on the actions of Pelosi? Because that's not destroying a good person. Have you any other examples of her trying to destroy a good person?

    Playing hide the spoon?

What is the quote? You say it was evil. I see an Independent UK link above and no evil context within. Nothing targeting Pelosi so I’m not sure what you’re talking about. Honest question: what was said and how is it evil?

You don’t have to answer of course but anything said without evidence will be dismissed without evidence.

You were asked for an example of her doing it to a good person and give an example of someone you despise.
AOC strikes me as the sort of politician America needs, not afraid of pushing for what she believes. I think fear of being called a commie or a socialist has held back plenty of people from doing the right thing.

I read it. She highlighted a pattern of behaviour by Pelosi - for which there appears to be evidence. Can you tell me how this is an example of her destroying a good person?

Reminder: Jen Psaki has no time for your “many people are saying” bull****

    https://www.mediaite.com/news/watch-jen-psaki-badgers-reporter-into-telling-her-which-critics-are-demanding-border-visit/

Q And what do you say to those who are criticizing the President and Vice President, who have not, to date, made a in-person visit to the Southwest border?

MS. PSAKI: Who are tho- — who are those?

Q Those who have criticized. There have been —

    MS. PSAKI: Like who?

Q There have been lots of people criticizing the fact that they’ve not made the — a trip to the border yet.

    MS. PSAKI: Like who?

Q Criticism from those in the Republican Party, criticism from others.

MS. PSAKI: Well, I don’t know who I’m responding to, but what I will say is that the President’s focus and the —

Q I’ll say that, just the other day, one of the senators held a press conference where that was a major criticism — the fact that —

MS. PSAKI: “One of the senators.” Okay.

    Q Yes.

MS. PSAKI: Well, the President —

    Q Senator Scott.

    MS. PSAKI: Senator —

    Q Senator Rick Scott.

MS. PSAKI: Senator Rick Scott. Okay. Well, the President’s focus and the Vice President’s focus is on solutions. And what our — what we’ve seen over the past several months is that, while we came in and there were — was little preparation for what was going to be a surge of migrants at the border, what we’ve done since then is rapid — or is massively reduced the number of children who are at Border Patrol facilities from over 5,000 to under 1,000 — the pro- — the number is probably even lower than that now — and massively reduced the number of hours that these children are spending in these facilities.

So, our focus is on working in — through the interagency process, pressing to eliminate bureaucracy, and making sure that we’re taking steps that treat them in a humane and moral way. And we’re less worried about press conferences or political games that are being played by some.

Jebus, back to the whinging that everyone is against you.

You have an opinion. Posters have asked why you have that opinion, and there is no basis.

You just don't. If you don't respect yourself enough to actually educate yourself, why do you expect others to respect your opinion.

Nobody is stopping you from having an opinion, just as nobody is stopping you from posting ill thought out opinions. But you even respect, you don't just get it.

Start backing up opinions with facts and evidence rather than simply bias and feelings
