It was a stated design of Trump policy to separate children from guardians on the basis that it would deter families from attempting to cross the border illegally due to the likelihood of their children being taken away from them and thrown into cages.

Obama, and now Biden, are simply dealing with the reality, in that some children attempt to cross without family and cannot be housed with adults.

Trump, the separating is a planned and wanted outcome. Biden it is a temporary situation until such time that the family can be located.

Biden is in Texas, having given it full disaster relief. All the GOP wigs from Gov Abbott down turn up. All delighted to take the help. Oh forgot about Cruz, he's left again. This time in Florida.

It is very unfortunate that his wall wasn't built. Maybe it will in his second term. It would end the suffering on the border.....which a lot of posters make a big deal about.

It's very unfortunate that some people are unable to offer meaningful argument on this thread and instead post repetitive and meaningless sh1te about irrelevant Trumpian brainfarts that he didn't build, Biden won't build and Biden's successor won't build.

Biden says a special effort will be made in April/May to reach out to minority communities that are hesitant, because of their historic forced medical experiences.

Biden loves a bit of war. America is going lower and lower. The failed Lady Gaga assassination just another example of how messed up it is over there. And then she comes out with '' a 500,000 award for the return of my dogs'' WTF , Not a 500,000 award for information leading to the arrest of who brutally shot and critically injured my friend.

That must be why a few posters spent the day lamenting that things were falling apart for Biden because people such as Sanders came out publicly against the action.

That's what responsible politicians do, they are consistent in their beliefs.
I wouldn't expect Conservatives to recognize this, they both blamed Trump for Jan 6th, and felt that he shouldn't be held responsible for his actions.

    How sad is that?

Is this more of the Republican 'accuse others of that which you are guilty mantra'? Because it sure looks like it?

Progressive liberals both within US congress and those who would see themselves as such on here are consistent in their opinions despite Bidens actions not being ideal for them in some ways.

Sanders on bombing and minimum wage.
    AOC on separating minor immigrants.

Blind support is Ted Cruz screaming like a cosplayer at a conference at which the guy who incited an insurrection is speaking. The same guy who insulted Ted's wifes looks and who said his father had JFK killed.

What else is that if not blind support?

Now, anyone expressly posting against actions of the current President when as little as 2 months ago they were fine with the same actions by the former, is a fanatical supporter of the former in my view. That is where their consistency lies, why don't they own it?

I'm talking about this thread specifically, not Sanders or AOC etc. I'm quite pleased with the response from a lot of liberals and Democrats today to the disgraceful air strikes in Syria. It is a pity an awful lot of posters here don't display a similar attitude

The defend at all costs attitude in this thread from most people just makes for tedious reading/posting. Everytime someone aims criticism at Biden you've 5 or 6 posters accusing them of being a Trump supporter/ drawing comparisons to Trump and republicans. Like you just did instinctively.

Guess what, this thread is about Biden, and a lot of left leaning people are unhappy with him. Expect some criticism from non Trump fanatics and stop trying to reduce the discussion to tit for tat nonsense.

To be fair, Biden did a excellent job promoting the BLM movement during the airstrikes.

There are posters here who were rampant advocates of Trump before 3rd November, have continued to praise 'against' Biden since then and even one who straight out said that they are a Trump fan just today.

People on this thread are not just defending Biden, they are acknowledging issues with specific actions such as the minimum wage and the attack on Syria as they did with the delay to fire the deputy press secretary who eventually resigned.

But I can spot when particular posters are coming in with faux concern about children in cages, or the people of Syria or those on minimum wage when all they are doing is using these people and issues as a stick to beat non-Trump supporters with.
