Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    That's the match unfortunately

    Leister by 3

Wouldn't Hanrahans three points be handy now?

Crooked throw and leads to a try typical

Why can’t Ross play like this for Ireland? He’s been great since coming on.

Crooked lineout. Good score but shouldn't have been given

And munsters line-out have all been straight. Not

Ruddock going off injured just as he's hitting career best form is unfortunately a microcosm of his career.

Thought Coombes outperformed him quite clearly.

Super kick from Byrne, grandstand finish coming up!

    Lovely kick by Byrne.

Keenan milking that to the last. The theatrics followed by immediately getting up when the ball was kicked behind was Neymar levels of soft.

    :D

That was Keenan's try, what a take and offload.

Loving take and pass from keenan

What are you on about. We didn't score off a crooked lineout

You’re going to complain about the one thing that has gone against you when you’ve gotten everything else?

    Lol. Ok.

Lovely try. Munster in trouble here. Haven’t scored since the first 10mins which must be a concern.

Going to be a long final ten minutes.

Well if it leads to a score... Yeah!

Lineout wasn't close to being straight but can't complain too much. Lots of calls gone our way.

6 point swing at the end of the first going to haunt us.

Is he not mostly just playing the same though, standing really deep and shovelling the ball on?

You got two penalties inside 5m that you should never have gotten.

    Stop crying.

Ach Beirne has been great all night......uncharacteristic error.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,044 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

    Munster errors shocking

Beirnes been very good but can't knock on like that

    Deflating

Munster haven't scored since the 12th minute. A crooked line out is not the problem.

    Casey on.
About 15 minutes later then he should be.

Murray’s the MOTM in my eyes, don’t know why Casey should have been on 15 mins ago.

Haley has been very good tonight

Had a couple of duff moments in the second quarter, but solid since.

    Eh?

If you go more than 60 mins without scoring a point in a game I think it’s fair to say it’s concerning when you find yourself behind with a few mins left on the clock.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,705 ✭✭✭The Inbetween is mine

We'll make a Kerry gaa player out of Haley yet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,375 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

Toland selects Beirne as MoM. But of course he does.

Murray has had a great game but not MOTM..

But true to form Toland picks a player on a losing Munster side..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Beirne MOTM....I'd have given it to Murray.

He's made some unreal kicks have to say.

Leinster kicking is just rubbish tonight

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,705 ✭✭✭The Inbetween is mine

Beirne probably the right call, wouldn't have argued if he gave it to Murray though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,253 ✭✭✭Former Former Former

Beirne MOTM. Toland gonna Toland. Not even the best second row on the park tonight

Munster have some mental blocks with Leinster

    Shocking loss

Basic skills gone to pot under pressure

    5 in a row lost

Go back to Hanrahan and it would have been a draw

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,750 ✭✭✭degsie

    Good game!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,229 ✭✭✭A-Train

Yes get in. Not a great performance, attack very blunt bar 1 movement, kicking game not great but found a way to win.

Well done Leinster...held on when Munster were battering away, and managed to get the try at the perfect time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,930 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

    Balls

Munster can never hold them when they have the lead. Well done Leinster anyway

Ryan has been brilliant this evening.

Lineout steals and metres in the carry are notable, but there was a moment at around the 60 minutes mark that really summed up his contribution. Jack O'Donoghue was just on as a sub and got the ball with a bit of space ahead of him. Ryan quickly adjusts his line, chases him down and makes the tackle to stop his progress. He'd worked hard all game but still had the energy to chase down a fresher, faster man.

Frustrating Leinster messing up twice on the Munster tryline...
