    Neither did Trump

The zero tolerance policy Trump had meant that anyone caught crossing the border illegally was to be criminally prosecuted.
The policy meant adults were taken to court for criminal proceedings and their children were separated.

There were no policy of separation, this was fallout from always criminally charging anyone crossing the border illegally.

so there was no policy of separation it was just that the policy of taking adults to court caused the separation. I get ya. What about them losing track of where the parents were so they could not reunite them with their children. Was that just unfortunate?

He not only separated them from the parents, plenty haven't been able to find their children as a result of that policy. The fact you're attempting to defend it...

Yes, you're right - it is a lie that Biden is the most popular president in history.

Jaysus the bitterness from the Trump zealots in these threads is hilarious, long may it continue:D

Clinton only managed one, what a loser.
The complete inability of Trump supporters to defend their opinion/point without resorting to whataboutery, specifically "what about [insert democrat name here]" summed up in one line folks.

I only came in because I assumed it was an ironic thread.

Didn't actually believe there's Irish people with these views (not that everyone here is Irish) and I'm actually taken aback by the amount of pro-Trump-ist views and apologists.
I have trouble accepting people look for positives in a man...

Well that is clearly your trouble. There are alot of Irish people who don't hold the democrat donating DOB owned news industry who used every possible broadcasting hour, every printed inch, tweet and blog to criticise Trump and the Republicans. It is as if they are the new bishop on the block pounding the pulpit and not only telling us how to live, but how to think too.

In the USA you have Fox V CNN giving two very biased opinions, at least someone with a logical train of thought can decipher that the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Here in good ol' Ireland you have Tubbs fawning over HRC, interviewing every American celebrity with a woke "tell us how Trump is bad" 'question' and letting them rant away unchallenged.

If Ireland had proceeded with suggestions to seek out and become the 51st US state back in the middle of the 1900s, it would be a strong dem state now owing to the news industry here and his gallant efforts no doubt.

are you counting the ones he separated from their parents and locked in cages?

Are you suggesting that adults who turn up with children at an international border without any papers should be just waved on through?

Child trafficking does not feature high on the Dem's action list, why?

Why not send them back? what is gained by separating their children from them and locking those children in cages?

entering another country, even if you do so illegally, with your own children is not child trafficking.
