Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I’ve mould on wall of a closet which sits against the back wall of my house.
I’ve removed the mould and I was wondering for a long term solution Would putting thermal plasterboard on the wall In the wardrobe be a solution (and drilling a vent in the closet...or putting thermal lining of some sort on the wall. Anyone any advice ?
    Thanks

A vent would probably sort it.

The wall surface is either wet or cold.

Wet being you have pipe leak behind below or above that wall. E.g plumbing or broken gutter or roof tile.

If that's not the issue it's cold.

The surface temperature of that wall is lower than the rest of the room. Which means any moisture in the air from normal household life condenses on the wall and turns to water. Sitting for some time will then allow mould growth.

Adding a thermal barrier to that wall to ensure the surface temperature is raised would work. I.e insulated plasterboard.
