Hello Lads. First time we are looking into buying a house within next 6 to 9 months. Planing to borrow 60 percent value of the house which is the max amount I can borrow personally. My partner doesnt work so I am not sure if we fit in for joint or individual application? Another issue is that i am renting for 5 years and since last 3 years landlord wont sign me up lease and only takes cash. I cant fight over it as rent is very reasonable. I sometimes have a withdrawal from bank stating "rent" just to keep it on record.

Will the cash rent no lease could be an issue?

Any help and advice will be appreciated. Thank you
