    Hi,

When I'm trying to boot my PC (windows 10), it's starting to boot up and then goes to a black screen.

Any thoughts on what this might be and how to fix?

Any recommended computer repair person near Dundrum / Rathfarnham?

    Thanks

    J

Have you tried to boot into Safe Mode?
See instructions here, under "From a black or blank screen".

Yes, it tried to do an automatic repair, didn't help.

I did a system restore to a few days back, when it was working, didn't help either.

Just out of interest, have you recovery from a boot disk? How long are you waiting before restarting? Also does the machine respond to the three fingered salute?

Sorry (CTRL+ALT+DEL)... or will it allow you to access the Task Manager after the screen goes back ?
