Where to find plumbing and heating professionals

Hello,

The title says it all.
I've been looking for someone to service an oil boiler and to take a look at some leaks in the house, thing is I can't find anyone.

I live in Monasterevin, so in my mind, I thought I should be able to quickly find professionals from Kildare/Offally/Laois.

I looked at localheroes.ie, but there's a thread here, where the service wasn't good, and prices are higher than usual.

Should I expect the same thing from other online services as onlinetradesmen.ie or tradesmen.ie ?

You might ask at your local plumbers supplies business and look for local recommendations

Forget about sites advertising tradesmen. Tradesmen don't work for these sites. They pay the sites to be listed. As a tradesman myself I have looked into these sites. Some don't check qualifications & at least one is happy to pad out a tradesmans CV knowing that it can't fall back onto them.

You are far better off sourcing a local tradesman recommended by friends & neighbours.
