    Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone can give me information on what the above estates are like, preferably from people who lived or are living there.

I'm from Dublin so don't know KK very well but we are considering buying in these areas. I know Rath Úllord is a relatively new estate whereas Parcnagown in roughly 15 years old. I'd be grateful for information on amenities, demographic, location ....any information really! Thank you

Lived in parknagowan before. Lovely estate. Never saw any problems. More central than R. U.
Maybe 20 minute walk to city centre. Close to primary and secondary school. 2 minute drive to ring road. Very good super valu within 2 minutes, as well as butchers, leisure centre, post office, barber/hairdresser, takeaway, Lidl, Aldi. It was perfect for me.

Rath Ullord is opposite side of kk, still under construction, v near ring road, has almost all the same amenities as parknagowan within 5-7 minutes. Newer houses, more energy efficient, quite expensive i.m.o. It does have a limit on potential houses as regards site size so won’t be hundreds being built as the years go on. Never lived there but the houses look nice.

It all depends what you need from a house what somebody else wonts might not suit you i know its not possible at the moment to come down see the areas for yourself. As the other person said both have the same amenities near bye but Rath Ullord are the newer houses.
