Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does McCarthy even know what he's doing himself?

We went from looking like we would put 40-50 on them to a right scrap. Some poor stuff.

    Without derailing the match thread.

Is Hodnett considered a 7? If so the sooner he takes over from Cloete the better.

He's injured at the moment, I think. He'd been getting some gametime earlier in the season.

Disappointing last 25 mins or so. We'd been doing well, even just from a territory perspective to pin them back. Benetton looking the much better team since.

Cloete is under contract for next season. One of the worst extensions for a while.

I know our discipline is poor but that last penalty was a joke. The assistant tackler just folded over the top and stopped the ball coming back. Not much you can do when the referee gives that.

I know he's injured I'm just not sure if Munster see him as a 7 or 8.

His carrying games is excellent but I'm not sure he has the breakdown ability for a 7.

    Neither does Cloete in fairness

Poor stuff so far, but credit to Benetton for getting back into this, especially during the sin bin period.

Munster showing no variety in attack again when they have the ball. Benetton rushing Munster, and Munster are showing a complete lack of ability to deal with it.

Ah look, they'll get a collective kick up the ass at halftime...second half they'll go through the gears again and and an easy bp before the games end

Are you watching the game? I'd say Munsters problem is early too much variety and a lack of flow and cohesion as a result of it - rather than a lack of variety.

Heads are still back in the changing room

A lot of poor concentration out there. We let them get away with 2 quick line outs inside their own 22. The first was a surprise
    The 2nd was lazy defending

Time for some replacements or we could lose this.

We are arguably worse in the 2nd half.

    Haley with 2 awful errors.

    Get big Tom Ahern on

That was an incredible pass to the winger by Benetton, whether he meant it or not!

Lineout has been iffy again. We are winning the ball but not cleanly

Munster 2nd best here. Will be lucky to come away with the win if this continues.

Good decision to take the points here.

    Sticking DeAllende on the wing?

Goggin to move out I’d say.

    Great footage there

THat could play a bit part towards the outcome of this. Did really well to make that unplayable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,603 ✭✭✭✭Akrasia

Offside line is completely hypothetical today (for both sides)

    Wtf was Haley at?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,603 ✭✭✭✭Akrasia

Haley has made at least 4 brainless moves today. 1 of them cost a try, lucky to get away with this one

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

Can Benetton please just score a try, maybe that will be the wake up call we need.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,151 ✭✭✭letowski

I wish this game will just end

This is awful across the board from Munster

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

What the hell is Haley thinking?

    What a tackle by Haley!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,416 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

How on earth do you not score that?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 294 ✭✭Scratchly

Benneton are all talent no brains. Everything they create they butcher.

    Haley class there tbf

    Textbook.

It was literally more difficult to not score than score. All he had to do was dive.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 10,640 Mod ✭✭✭✭aloooof

Haley goes from the ridiculous to the sublime within 2 mins there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

After slating Haley twice tonight that was incredible. Fair play. Excellent tackle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,603 ✭✭✭✭Akrasia

Lovely passing and a deserved try from Benetton

A balls. Would like to have seen that incredible tackle from Haley rewarded.

Then follows it up with a huge wiff on a tackle.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 10,640 Mod ✭✭✭✭aloooof

Benetton the better team for the vast majority of this, they deserve that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

Glad they atleast scored now, we now have a chance to atleast come back. You defend for nearly 50 minutes straight and think you can win a match, what are Munster thinking?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 294 ✭✭Scratchly

They'll give away a dumb penalty now to undo themselves.

  • Registered Users Posts: 548 ✭✭✭MaddChris

Absolutely zero leadership on that field.
Deserve to lose this, no argument.

What was the plan, defend a 1 score lead for 50/60 minutes? They deserve to lose this for that alone.

Whoever carried the ball into contact for that turnover crawled their way into it. They literally went right under the two Benetton players and away from support.

Benetton should have requested the scrum there for the knock on, take up more time.

    Edit: Nevermind!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

The response to going behind has been just as bad as the response being in front if that was possible.

Not one comment about Finlay Bealham having a good cameo at hooker for Benetton?
