Much of the media coverage has attributed the rioting to both issues. Certainly the failures of the PSNI with regard to the Storey funeral and the refusal of Sinn Fein to accept the democratic outcome of the Assembly motions have not gone down well.

You had a DUP minister inventing terror threats a few weeks ago over the Protocol.

That is why kids are on the streets, they have been manipulated by the DUP. Has Edwin Poots been asked for his resignation? No, let's use people who went to a funeral to excuse unionist excesses again.

Lookit.... more auld rá-meis from the usual source.

The magpies led by O’Neill and Doherty, thumbed their noses at the forces of law and order.

Then they try to deflect away from why all the violence kicked off.

The answer is obvious...... these clowns took over the area, trailed their coats to rise up the opposition. And then try to deflect from the obvious result when their leaders were not prosecuted.

Would you grow up Francie, you are fooling nobody.

Who do you think you are dealing with, dude!!!!

Blanch, I guarantee if you went and asked those kids about Assembly motions, you'd be lucky if one in fifty had a clue what you were on about (likewise with the NI Protocol they're all so enraged about in fairness). I even heard from a few locals nearby that a few thought they were rioting about lockdown.

The reality is they're out rioting because they've been riled up and told to do so, and that is all coming from their own side, not SF, and like I said already the problems that have left these kids in this situation will still be there if SF disappeared off the face of the earth tomorrow.

Your dislike for SF and wish to blame them for absolutely anything you can try and stick to them seems to leave you completely unable to look at the situation objectively. When you start off thinking, 'how could this be SF's fault', it is unsurprising that you conclude they're to blame, no matter the deeper reality.

Sooooooo...nothing to do with meeting the LCC or a senior Minister Edwin Poots inventing terror threats nor the leader of that LCC threatening violence to bring down the Protocol?

Ok Bren, have it your way.

The forces of law and order actually don't think the Shinners thumbed their noses at them.
    Any charges pending?

You can't have it both ways, Francie. You said in your previous post that they were out on the street trying to stop people. That is not what the PSNI asked for. That is not what normal political parties do (and another in a long list of Covid breaches by Sinn Fein).

Sending SF thugs out on the street to police young people is not the right answer to anything.

john hume used to be on the streets doing the same thing. you calling him a thug now too then?

The PPS and DPP's in Ireland and the UK routinely make decisions of this nature.
There is no doubt that there is anger that equality of treatment is hard for some to take.

can anyone translate this please? Its reading like Brendan Bendar is saying the problems with violence at this minute have nothing to do with the DUP and everything to do with 'O’Neill and Doherty' - but thats a bit silly so i must be misreading it

If ye read the context instead of jumping wildly in you would have noticed it was in relation to Brenners quotes regarding the forces of law and order.

I was just stating the facts as reported, ie, the forces of law and order in NI have no issue with SF re Storey's funeral. Fact.

why bother investigating and sending 24 files for direction to the pubic prosecution service then ??

    fact lol

Which they will routinely do after investigating something.

Fact is the PPS had a look and decided there wasn't enough there to proceed, even brought in an independent senior counsel to have a look.

Correct. And was found to be no issue.

Can't really see the problem. If the Gardai hand 24 files over to the DPP concerning #LeotheLeak, and he finds there's no case for Leo to answer, would you have a problem with it?
    I certainly wouldn't.

If clowns wish to post personal info on social media freely, it's not really SF or any other entities fault if they wish to harvest it and use it.

Another round of the Bondian inferences..'intel gathering Moneypenny, very suspicious'. :)

Appears FFG need training in social media use as their supporters here appear to be totally amazed and in awe of how it can be used.

If its being elicited by members of Sinn Fein, they're not posting freely on Social Media. Probably in breach of GDPR as soon as they start using the information for a purpose other than that which it was given to them for

"The Abú system is a canvassing database developed by Sinn Féin which allows local organisers rank individual voters based on their likelihood to vote for the party.

The online street-by-street database is searchable and is described as a “powerful tool” for canvassing in the training manual. Members are given individual logins to access and update the system with information from canvasses."

Interesting, I wonder where that database stands with GDPR too. A few GDPR requests would sort that out.

I agree there may be GDPR issues, but jumping to the 'call around to have a word' conspiracy theory...some people are just too desperate. :)

an organisation that has many "former" terrorists and criminals in its ranks looking for peoples address's ?

sure that's not of concern to anyone

its just another facet of sf that retains its sinister terrorist aspects

Do you stop to think before posting?

Like the 'Serbian' issue, could somebody make an actual allegation here?

Bar the usual, 'slates lifted' sensationalism.
