Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Advice on painting 1990 international tractor

Looking to repaint an old international tractor.

Parts of it are rusted and some flaked completely. Just wondering any advice on products to make this easier.

Was going to invest in a sandblasting kit for compressor, some cleaning solution for the oil, some compound to fill gaps, some rust suppressor, spray gun for the paint.

Just wondering if anyone has any tips or knows good products to make this easier. I don't need to do a 100% job but would like it to look good.

    Thanks for any tips

Keep the gun 8-10” from the piece when spraying, even strokes starting and stopping in the right places, light coats built up is easier to get a good finish than heavy smudged coats. A quick run of wet and dry paper between each coat and a clear coat lacquer finish.
That’s the easy part. The cleaning, sanding and stripping is what will take the time. Anything you aren’t stripping make sure is taped off properly especially when lads spray the tyres it’s desperate looking.
