Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

House is 60 years old, OFCH, hot water cylinder with just a lagging jacket. We'd like to upgrade and potentially move the hotpress altogether to a better location or at least make it take up less space in the house. Is this possible? Can combi boilers work with ofch? How much would such a job cost?

Also looking to move a wood burning stove and back boiler to a different room. Wondering if the job would be so complicated it's not worth doing or if it's fairly straightforward.

Combi boilers are a good replacement for immersion tank in OFCH. We replaced boiler with help of grant. I did same and posted about it before.
Combi boiler so much more efficient and quicker than waiting for a huge tank to heat. Also you get that space back.
