Kinahan is a scumbag and I would like to see him put away but I must say I find the vigour from Fine Gael here amusing and of sharp contrast to say for example their attitude towards mother and care home scandal. If Josepha Madigan share the blame far and wide there and ask things such as where were the fathers then surely the d4 heads who enjoy the odd line are partially responsible for a monster like Kinahan?

It amazing how every thread, no matter what the subject you bring it back to FG.
The bit in bold I have no idea what you are talking about?

Stupid question here, rte news said 2 high courts have stated that this guy is a leading figure in a major organised crime gang.

So how come he is still walking around the streets?

The 'War on Drugs' creates monsters like DK, if and when he is put away, I doubt The Girl Guides will take over that trade.

Because they've taken it on themselves to tackle Kinahan right now as if it's the biggest issue we're facing. If they'd have been have as proactive around any of the other myriad of issues we'd be flying it. From the last two days alone :

Want me to out up more FG tweets on this topic? There's an obsession here alright but it ain't mine. Tweeting non stop and on numerous talk shows about it. I suppose the brexit distraction has run its course for him now.

So one party member had put a few tweets up and you just pass it off as FGs stance on the situation??

Richmond is a real grease bag and a ladder climber, he thinks he is an expert on everything so he's a very public face of FG and amplifies everything whether you like it or not

So you insult the guy and call into question his comments, then suggest he is a major spokesperson for the FG party. Which is it>

My take on it is that Richmond has been highlighting the Kinahans when others have not. He’s doing the country a service. ****ing hell what’s going on with them can’t be highlighted enough.

  • Registered Users Posts: 561 ✭✭✭Larsso30

Not arsed about the politics but at least Richmond is being vocal about it. Sinn fein sadly remained very silent about their party member representing DK, trying to silence the press and his relation ship with mtk......

Yes, they say only 10% of drugs are seized, if that was an exam, it would be a huge failure. Why not try legalisation for a couple of years, if havoc ensues then revert to prohibition. Let's not knock it 'til we try it.

The politicising of this has been mental. Everyone wants the scumbag locked up so get it done asap. But it's the disproportionate representation in the media that's making it appear as white noise to play down other issues and take the heat off the likes of FG. Here's another brutal take by FG councillor. This ridiculous type of tweet does nothing for the cause. Associating left leaning politics with drug cartels?

Another two for ya. I'd this the party line? Messages look very similar.

Both, I reckon it's fairly easy to have ****-all between your ears but just be a mouth and still be a major informal spokesperson for the FG party

Because he has been one step ahead of the Gardai up until now. They ran Operation Shovel with three other police forces to get him convicted but after 10 years of investigations and his arrest the case collapsed with the Spanish authorities having to hand back properties and cash that they had seized from the Kinahans.

He left Spain and moved to Dubai where he continues to operate the cartel but so far at least he has been untouchable.

Very brave of Barry McGuigan and Neale Richmond to speak out against Daniel Kinahan.

That can’t be good for one’s long-term wellbeing.

He's never been convicted of anything which is why we dont hear of them (yet) . Safe to say that they're the best that money can buy, his cartel is turning over hundreds of millions per year

Frampton retained Finucane as his lawyer, not Daniel Kinahan.

i mean, if there is evidence, prosecute the man. it's pretty simple, no?

imagine someone going after tubridy in the press cos they know he takes drugs (allegedly), they'd be sued fair swift.

if its widely acknowledged he is doing something illegal, keep tabs on him. if narcos thought me anything, its that the US DEA will get their man come what may.

Probably nothing to keep tabs on

Encrypted conversations , that's probably it

    He's done work for DK

Would DK even employ or need legal representation here?
