Streamers have set up again! I was hoping to reach -5c or -6c here!

There is always something to stop a cold night!!

How close are you to Portrush? I was following the golf there two years ago. Would imagine it doesn't drop below -3 C along that coast very often.

This will come to nothing for most.

But it’s a bit of a diversion speculating.

Got my supermarket delivery today, so am sorted for a week. We shall see what happens. East coast here, and am usually a Beast lol!

My fortnightly supermarket delivery is due on Thursday. Down to 2 crusts! I will be making bannocks today..

Very cold and quiet out here. Bitter chill. met ie say -3....I have been out to feed the outdoor cats and all is unsnowed of course

Good to read so many happy posts...

Light dusting of graupel/snow in Offaly. Looking at Met forecast update this morning,it seems uncertain how far north the front will go. There will be snow over the next 24 hrs maybe 36,in various places. But by Sunday we are heading for Spring. At least with temperatures if not sun.

Some lying graupel in Swords when out walking the dog but it actually feels kinda mild to me, certainly no biting cold. No gloves on me holding the leash but hands were not really cold. On Monday morning, they were freezing.

Hoping that heavier blob on radar over Wexford will reach here in Waterford in the next while, DP here hovering between - 1 and - 2 which would concern me for tomorrow. Approach of any milder air would surely raise DP as currently not particularly low and we would get rain?

Ditto in Dublin 16. Surprised at the cover on concrete surfaces.

Any latest thoughts on shower activity today for Dublin area?

Great to see snow even if not a huge amount. Few drivers on motorway with just windscreen cleared of snow. A lot with just front windscreen and front door windows clear. Seriously?

Little covering in Clondalkin, not more than 1cm I'd say. Grass still visible but mostly white. I really hope end of week delivers more but for now, at least we had something overnight.

    Clondalkin in Dublin

Streamer gathering strength over sea atm with a noticeable SW flow to it so may just reach north Dublin which is the only noteworthy Irish Sea shower. Few flurries around Dublin area atm

I wasn’t expecting any great depths this morning but at least we both got a dusting or did you get something deeper there DOC?

    Nothing deep(er), just a good dusting/coating.

Anything likely for SCD today or tomorrow. Only a very slight dusting on car roofs this morning ..so disappointing for an Easterly.

Yet more snow in North Donegal overnight, but again no mention of it on forecast. That's 2 nights running we weren't included in the yellow warning.
At a rough measure, looks like another inch last night.
