I've taken a half day today, thought we'd get something that might stick for a few hours, think I'll just go back to bed when I'm finished. ☺️☺️

I don't think I have ever read a post that is so connected to a username in the history of Boards!!

That offshore wind quite helpful to many Atlantic coasts as the radar shows.

whoy is snow stopping by galway?

    That's the most recent radar.

Precip is slowing as it moves up the country however.

Look at the radar! It's there just a few posts ago!

Moving up from southwest, wind from east/southeast

It can't be overstated just how rare an event this is. I'd of bet on the resurrection of Jimmy Savile before seeing Clare getting hammered with snaw from an Atlantic system.

Yes, but several models suggested it would get snow as did several forecasters so I think your original comment to the guy was a tad harsh and black & white (albeit his comment was black & white too). Anyway, looking good for your location so enjoy....

No intent meant really, just gets annoying when people whinge.

    Light snow Galway city.

North by northeast, without Cary Grant. Watch out where the huskies go, and don't eat that yellow snow.

Started here in West Galway too. Light, but bone dry so it looks to be sticking.

Also surprising that some areas of North Cork and South Tipp are showing up as sleet, would have thought the further inland the better the chances.

Take the photo normally and attach it to your post
The camera in post function is hit and miss
    We can't see your photo
