Indeed, won't hit there for several hours. Front has just made it up through the south west!

Am I right in saying it is slowing down allot over the Tipperary Hills moving eastwards? I am looking out at the sky westwards and it isn't changing yet

Edit Winds have really picked up the in the last 5 minutes.
It will be in Tullaroan soon, took ages for it to get from Clonmel 14 miles west. Must be in Ballingarry by now...

Not a flake in Kilkenny city yet. The front is moving very slowly.

Transition and slow melt underway in Ennis, ah well two hours to savour which I've documented for posterity. By our modest standards the quota has been reached, roll on next winter.

Sleet, rain and wind in North Cork. Ground very wet. There would need to be a full on snowstorm for anything to settle here today.

Some heavy precip heading into Mayo now. Quite a wind here in Westport so hopeful for some blowing snow. Just starting as I type.

Which we need not worry about if we have no essential business there:)

Light snow in South Co. Kilkenny. Not heavy enough to settle. Seems to be mainly of the graupel variety.

Had Graupel earlier in Clonmel that melted on contact. Nice fluffy flakes now.

Loving the skies in the photos from clare etc!
I haven't seen skies like that in a few years!

It was beginning to get very light in west Galway and nearly stopped altogether but we are back to heavy snow again now.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

    A nothing comment really.

Even if you did, good luck catching a flight. None to be found.
