Heavyish graupel now in Duin 15....looks very good for Dublin..... The South of Ireland (Cork etc) looks like getting zero though unfortunately.

Thursday seems to be our only hope here in Macroom so hopefully it will happen!

    Yep only dandruff until then.

Dublin showers so far have been anaemic Short in duration and no where near heavy enough to make a covering , even on grass. They need a dose of steroids or else we will have to wait until Thursday . Not sure it’s quite cold enough either , any precipitation is melting away quite quickly

Thought we might get some tonight along the coast?

Most of the more knowledgeable people on here have said today was only ever going to be light -> Moderate
Tomorrow looks to be more promising in terms of widespread streamers.

Thursday looks like the main event. Just depends on timing now as to who/where gets the good stuff.

There is one about to hit South County Dublin that may have a bit more pep away from the coast. No good for me here in Dublin 9. I think the Irish Sea might quieten down for a few hours after the moderate snow hits the southside.

We have the tiniest flakes of graupel floating in the breeze in South Kilkenny!

Brief light to moderate sleet/graupel shower atm (Dalkey). Max intensity of showers will be later on/tomorrow so some areas inland should get a few cms out of this.

    Sleety hail in Inchicore.

Still no warning from Met Eireann. Hard to see any accumulations until they do. Perhaps this evening/tonight will have a yellow one.

Tiny flakes blowing in the wind in Tullamore.

save the trouble and jazz it up

huge heavy graupel here now, think I was the main area. Settling on impact but it varies between light/not, so it will melt

I'd expect a yellow from them later today covering tomorrow/wenesday updated each day
Orange is what I'd expect for many counties if the fronts stall later in the week
Glasnevin don't hurry these things out

Hopefully! It's certainly cold enough for it down here! Looking at the GFS it looks like we may get the odd shower before then.

Ditto from around 7am....on and off.

Very much liking the wind direction at the moment. ENE at Casement, M2 buoy, IOM and north Wales. Hope it stays that way for while!

Sunday could be another snow day for some. Been watching that mild pushing from the west over a number of days and it looks to never quite make it into the east and se before next week. Could be a proper dumping of snow if the temps remain favourable between Thurs-Sun. It was showing up to about 9 degrees for here by the weekend. That is now down to 0-1 degree on latest outputs so expecting plenty of snow bar things revert to their original idea of mild.
