Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is all that precipitation over Meath/Louth still light graupel? It seems to be pretty persistent stuff, so is it sticking there or is it meaningless?
    It's non-existent from what I've been told.

Does this new-fangled Working From Home lark sound the death knell for ‘Snow Days? Damn you (again) Covid.

It's the bally ballyness of it that makes it all seem so bally bally.

That was a bitter cold walk on the beach - Louth coast. Grapple shooting sideways in to the face like standing in front of a dart board at the Alipally.

Clouds look like they really want to empty snow from them but nothing

So jelious that Dublin is getting lashed out of it with snow, zilch here in Carrick on Shannon, although some approaching showers are heading across the country towards me

Looking at the fella on VMTV news at the moment, its beginning to come down as a graupelly mix in Dublin 2.

So far, to use the coin method of measuring snow depth, turn the coin flat and use its thickness (2.3 mm) as a reference!

    It’s absolutely freezing out there!

and i'm back under the IOM shadow. Lots of hail/snow showers 5 miles to my north and the Irish sea looking rather empty to my east. The shower train seems to be tracking further north as well looking at the radar on netweather.

edit: a shower has just appeared out of nowhere near the Meath coastline between Donabate and Balbriggan which may get to here.

Yeah I was thinking that it looks like a swing to the ESE now out in the Irish Sea
