    Hi BOI team,

My elderly dad doesn't own a smartphone so how should he proceed with gaining access to his 365online account?

    Any help/advice is appreciated.

    Regards,

For now you can use this link to the legacy online banking.

    https://original.365online.com/online365/spring/authentication?execution=e1s1

If you read the digital blurb, you can request an authenticator and they will deliver it within 10 days, it will fulfill the role of authentication in the absence of a Smartphone.

    Hi bizbee

Thanks for checking in here with us.

Sure, we can offer you advice on how to continue online banking through the browser.

If your Dad's login details have never been connected to the App, your Dad can continue, for the moment, to login with the option 'Don't have the mobile App'.

If your Dad does not have a 'device' as part of the 2 factor authentication, a PSK (physical security key) can be posted to your Dad, this will be used along side the login User ID and PIN.

Just to add, as soon as the PSK is available to order, it will show on the login screen online and your Dad will have this posted in time for the changes.

Here is a look at the PSK, it's a small handheld device. The link will also show you the steps on setting your own PIN.

Hope this helps, any further questions feel free to come back to us.

    Many thanks
    Alison
