    Hi,

looking to replace the 12 year old samsung.

I think 50 inch is biggest to fit in my room. Would use it to watch streaming movies and some xbox series x gaming occasionally. I will need a soundbar too as my hearing seems to be getting worse.

My budget including both would be around the 1-1200k Euro mark.

    Saw below in Powercity

SAMSUNG 50" SMART 4K HDR LED TV WITH WIFI 725 Euro

    Also this in harvey norman

    https://www.harveynorman.ie/tvs-headphones/hd-tvs/all-tvs/panasonic-50-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-led-tv-tx50hx820b.html 699 euro

I like the idea of getting click and collect if possible. As had some recent nightmares buying dishwasher and washing machine online for delivery which were out of stock it turned out (after I ordered). Also the brexit carry on with customs precludes the big UK chains I imagine.

You should go over to the Richersounds forum. The lads are very helpful and they price match. They provide a top notch service and have done so for boardsie's for years

Have a look on HUKD, a lot of the bargains reductions there are UK based, which is not what you want.

However some of the AV bargains can be found in UK shops , which have a presence here (Argos, Currys etc) . Hopefully if you see something you like , the Irish store will price match

Its a good idea to buy a soundbar, flat screen TVS by their nature, do not have great speakers
