I'm going to have to check out Dark, everyone says it's amazing and it even got the highest rating here

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,059 ✭✭✭Irish Aris

Congratulations Sawduck, you had some really great selections!!

LeVar, thank you once again for a great competition and reveal - and for "inventing" a new variation of the game. I may not have done well, but we will always have Dark!!

I can't recommend it enough Sawduck, especially if you like science fiction.
Not sure if there is a dubbed version, I would definitely recommend though German audio and subtitles.

Subtitles all the way. The dubbed is shocking apparently.

Well done Sawduck, very high standard of shows all around picked in fairness.

Savage going LeVar with 8 categories and the bonus round - hopefully you enjoyed... most of it :D

Great Show LeVar and sorry to hear about your Grandad.

Do not expect the same level of effort from me tomorrow :pac: 75 songs in two days is not easy :D

Finally catching up properly - great hosting! Never mind the work, obviously that was loads, but the presentation in the reveals was great and the two bonus rounds fit the overall competition perfectly

Delighted with my final position, despite handicapping myself with a couple of dodgy picks :p

Congrats Sawduck, this was not one you could win by luck! Great selection picked, well done :)

Must get around to Dark. Sounds like it deserves full attention though, think it mind have to wait until we're not sleep deprived!

Great job there Ducky. Nice spooning Koliflower.
Good game, good game and smashing reveal LB a lot of effort put in. Thanks Biggly.

A lot of shows I have never seen and some ideas of what to watch in future.

I was doing great until I was hobbled with a couple of bad scores, but je ne regrette rien.

ps: for the record Leslie Nielsen is an absolute ledge-bag

Woohoo thank you lavar. Great reveal, loved the whole bonus points system it got very tense towards the end. Hard luck to cee_jay who did brilliant. This was fun and a great idea, I hope we get many more TV walrus games in the future.

Was this your first Walrus win Sawduck?

Thought you had won another, but was just updating the Walrus Wiki and looks to me like this is your first. You've been close to winning a few of them right? Maybe that's what I was thinking of.

Either way, if it's your first Walrus Trophy, an extra congrats is deserved... very well played...

But also, I dont see my own good name there, & I am the proud winner of not one, but TWO spoons ya know

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,645 ✭✭✭SineadSpears

Because I absolutely hated it. 'Tis that simple.

    LeVar's judging summary.

We impressed him the most with our "Adapted for Television" picks, with the average score in this round being 88.12%. He wasn't so impressed with our Bam! Right In The Childhood! picks, with the average score here being 72.8%.
Overall though, LeVar was very generous with his scores, with average across all shows being 80%!

Thanks again LeVar for putting yourself through all that - really enjoyed the reveal!

Fair play cee_jay, I like those stats.

And good to know the average across all shows, was far more generous than I thought I had been... :D

Glad to hear people are getting recommendations from this Walrus and enjoying them. I have so many shows on the go at the moment off the back of this game, it's insane... :D

Just rewatching this at the moment and it made me think of this Walrus. Glad I put this down in writing before he died and it also got the LeVar Burton seal of approval 😁
