I think I speak for most fans that if he can leave the UK for the funeral, he should. Even if he misses most of the rest of the season, he should do it. He'll be a better player next season if the club takes care of him now.

Guessing he can travel for the funeral, miss 3 league games + CL game, which would then take him to the time he would have been travelling over for the March World Cup games anyway.
Join up with the squad for those games as normal, and then return to Europe with them.
I've no idea what happens then though, do South American footballers have a quarantine exemption on returning. There must be, what, 25/30 players in the EPL who are potential call-ups for those WC qualifiers.

Whatever is best for him in this situation. If he can attend the funeral and be with his family, he should be even if it means he misses the rest of the season. Some things are more important than football.

Obviously no one will have any issues with what he does form here but it'll be interesting

Remember back in the day Titi Camara dad died and he never told Houllier because he wanted to play that night ,He scored the winning goal that day against Westham and was in tears on his knees ,

I think Goalkeeper is a harder position mentally to play after something like this than a striker.

Outfield players moving all the time.
Alisson spend many games with not much to do.

Fabinho not fit enough for Sheff Utd game and understandably Alisson's status is unknown.

So what CB partnerships will we see? Kabak & Davies or Kabak & Philips. Adrian or Kelleher as GK? think Kelleher was injured recently.

That's an incredibly weak central defensive trio.

Probably put another midfielder back there! Gini and Kabak! No idea what Davies is like so hard to say if he will get the nod over Phillips.

Awful news about Alisson's father, he should take as much time as he needs, I'd be surprised if he plays again before the international break.

I think for the Sheffield United game Kelleher will get the nod again over Adrian and if Fabinho is not fit I'd say it'll be Kabak and Philips at CB, I doubt Davies will get a debut especially if Fabinho is not playing.

Fabhino & Milner only join first team training tomorrow so I doubt either will play the weekend, Likely to be back in the squad for Chelsea


Best we can hope for this weekend is Jota & Keita on the bench ,

Do they not play Ultimate Team? I think you need to buy packs to get different players for that but to be honest I haven't a clue how it works.

I much preferred PES than FIFA when I used to play soccer games.

Hendo's 30 - now'd be a good time to bring in an understudy for the longer term. Would like that type of player, and also a young attacking/creative midfielder. Both young enough that they don't need to be more than bit part players right now, but old enough that they're reasonably safe bets and not prospective punts.
