Original iPod Cable

Hey,
Found my old iPod recently but it doesn't turn on etc and no sign of the cable so I have been trying to source one.

Can anybody steer me the right way to the cable I need? On ebay or amazon or something.

I have bought two already but they were both similar but wrong and I'm finding it hard to figure out which one is the right one.
This is the very first 2001 iPod.

Hello, thanks for the reply.
It is not that cable it is probably the connection before this one I would say hence why I'm having a hard time finding it.

If it's an original iPod, then it's a FireWire 400 cable that's needed:

Quick search on Amazon and the first page of results only showing the camcorder 4-pin cables, so a deeper dive may be required.

The cable's not your only problem - you'll need a 6 pin FireWire charger, and a computer with a FireWire port to connect it to put music on it (not even beginning to consider whether the old iTunes software will work. From what I remember of mine, it was compatible with Macs only).

This will give you the charger and the cable, but you'll still be stuck connecting to a computer.
