Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wasn't sure where to post this, but I think this may be the best.

The father recently read an article about some IRA/trouble related business around Limerick (county mainly) and would be interested in reading more. Does anyone know if there are any books covering the subject? Specifically around Limerick county. Online won't do as he's too old school to use tech.

    Thanks in advance!

You could try O Mahony's books, give them a ring they might be able to suggest something. They have lots of Limerick books online.

As simple as that is, I didn't even think of it. Sound!

There was a good programme on recently. Should be on the rte or tg4 player. It was mostly about Richard mulcahy and the race between pro and anti treaty forces to take over positions and barracks in Limerick once the British moved out. It was very good. I'll see if I can find it later

There was a novel from the 80's that had characters from the IRA meet in the Munster Fair Tavern. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dancing-Floor-Michael-M-McNamara/dp/0352305320

I think Brian Hanley has a book about Co Limk and the IRA if I'm not mistaken.
