Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My boiler(outdoors) is on it's last legs and I need to get a new one asap. I'm getting quoted about €2,200 for a new Grant Vortex boiler including labour. Does that sound right?

Very cheap. It's unlikely that it will be properly commissioned or warranty passport filled in and sent away.

    No.

If you’re paying less than 2,700 you’re getting ripped off

No. But if you upgrade the heating controls, there might still be something. Check the SEAI website.

I really got a quote for a condensed boiler of between €2,500 and €3,000 if that helps.
