Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rumbling sound when tank refilling

    Hi,
We have just moved into a new build. Anytime we use the water, there is a rumbling, thundery sound afterwards (not the pump). The plumber has told me it is the tank refilling but it's very loud and neighbours have said they do not have the same sound. Plumber is adamant that it is normal but when he heard it first he went to attic to replace a ballcock which suggests he thought it was unusual too. It can be heard throughout the house at a low level but particularly loud in en suite and boiler room downstairs. Measures about 40 decibels in these rooms so it can be loud when its happening and last for about a minute. Is it normal to hear a tank refilling like that? Also, does anyone know if it is ok to get my own plumber in to look at it or are we better off to stick with site plumber due to homebond guarantees? Site foreman has been very helpful all the way along.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice!
