Could you imagine if it was some other station that had dropped one of their cast only to find out that the person was completely innocent, Duffy would be dragging them across the coals for not having the courage of their convictions to back their colleague. It is disgraceful what happened to him, but RTE wont want him coming on and speaking ill of the "me too" movement again, as he did the last time he was on RTE.

As already mentioned, Joes spiel yesterday was so woke and PC it was untrue.

You could actually hear his brain trying to mention every possible pc term he could. Saying that every one is beautiful, everyone is smart etc. When that's not how those beauty contests work. Even some of the contributors were talking nonsense with him, saying looks aren't the main thing in them, how it's what sort of person you are and your personality etc. Absolute dung. When was the last time you saw Miss World with all those 30st contestants with the great personalities?

And coming out with "Would a woman with a veil be allowed to enter, cos a lot of Irish woman wears veils", just capped it all off. Man O Da People. Unless you're Chinese of course.

Personally I wouldn't be a fan of such contests but if people want to enter them then so be it. Same as it's fine if an adult of 18+ wants to show off their body on the internet and get rich from it, that's their choice.
