Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is he allowed call them evil? Legally he is only allowed refer directly to the charges against them, and they weren't convicted of being evil.

    Evil, evil, evil people!

But the lad who swiped the phone with the dead girl's pictures was "cast down, down on his luck and unwell"?

    Feck off Joe!

They defrauded a bank. You'd swear they were caught drowning puppies the way some callers are going on.

If someone came up to you on the street and asked you for your drivers licence (car keys) would you hand them over?

    Answer: yes, clearly.

exactly, it's not like they kicked the homeless while they slept. They gave them €100 for a few days worth of drink or drugs that they did not have otherwise

They apparently had wigs and disguises, the banks should have released the CCTV footage after the court case.

These two are very easy punching bags for Joe Duffy and RTE. Both are unpopular, Unlikely to sue, nobody prepared to stand up for them, and Joe Duffy gets to act like the bully that he is.

Yeah bad case alright but plenty worse cases out there.

Kind of odd he is focusing on this one

There was a case recently of a man who attacked a shop worker in a convenience store in the course of a robbery. West dublin.

It was awful, evil as joe would say

Yet I didn’t hear joe say much about it...

Mary from Clontarf: Yes of course officer
Me: Im sorry, you're carrying too much cash. Under Statue 69, sub section D, I am within my rights to remove the excess.

I have to laugh at Joe re-iterating they stole 400,000 from the bank.

Meanwhile he practically steals 400,000 a year from the TV License fund.

Don't understand why they can't share details
If you have a credit card merchant account that goes into debt and you are closed off that data is shared with other providers, meaning you'll never get another account

They will; it'll be a new comedy show on Virgin Media TV in the summer.

In fairness, I'm not sure if there's anything about their behaviour that should be stood up for...

no , but a lot more crimes with actual physical harm or intimidation don't get as much coverage. 4 and 2 years seems reasonable
