Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Your main premise of the show is to get people to call in....and they consistently manage to have bad lines, how have they not somewhat fixed that?

Ive texted into NewsTalk a few times and been asked to go on. The producer talks to you for a few minutes partly to check your line. I don't understand whoy Liveline never does that.

    "Eccentric" come on....

It's fine if you don't fall into one of the categories she goes after....

There is a reason why she has been locked off every single platform.

Anyway off topic so I will stop

    She is totally unhinged.
Where do you want to start with her recent stuff?
    - The troubles was a staged event
    - Holocaust denial
That's not even scratching the surface when it comes to her rants about LGBT people, foreigners.
She has gone full off the deep end.

Maybe shes in the throes of a prolonged mental episode, who knows but that doesn't negate any of the good work she done in the relatively recent past where she revealed the currupt underbelly of the state when other "journalists" were afraid to go there and still are as a matter of fact, the dancers being indisguishable from the dance these days . I dont agree with 90% of her present day views btw but to me its no surprise shes gone mad having no doubt had a fleeting glance at the corrupt and discusting underbelly of this new Republic

That's somewhat unfair since you have very little knowledge of her situation. Housing an addict is an incredibly difficult situation so I wouldn't be choosing to judge anyone in a situation like that.
I somewhat agree with you. I'm not in her shoes(thankfully). However,if mine had the misfortune to fall into tdrug/alcohol addiction I would not be able to sleep in my bed at night knowing they were on the streets. Moreover I would not come on national radio saying that homeless charities should be looking after my flesh and blood whilst I had a solid roof over me.
In that context I feel I am well qualified to judge her.

I got a kid who by the time June comes around will have spent the grand total of 21 weeks in school over the course of 16 months Joe.

Thats who its tough on really but your only concern about them is your teacher daughter having to wear a coat and a scarf cos she is cold.
